Generate QR codes for URLs, text, contact, WiFi and more
Quick Response (QR) codes are matrix barcodes designed to store URLs, text payloads, or contact credentials.
Paste your URL into the text box and the QR code appears instantly. Pick colors, size and error correction if you like, then click download to save a PNG. There is no watermark, and the code is generated in your browser, so nothing is sent to a server.
Higher levels survive more damage but make the code denser. Approximate recovery is about 7 percent for L, 15 percent for M, 25 percent for Q and 30 percent for H. Use M for clean screens, and Q or H for printed codes that may get scratched or have a logo placed over them.
The largest QR code can hold up to about 7,089 digits, 4,296 alphanumeric characters or roughly 2,953 bytes of text at the lowest error correction level. Higher levels reduce that capacity, and longer content produces a denser code that is harder to scan.
Type the standard WiFi format into the text box, for example WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:YourPassword;; and the generated code can be scanned by most modern phones to join the network. The tool encodes whatever text you enter, so the format has to be typed exactly.
The usual causes are low contrast, an inverted or very light foreground color, a code printed too small, or too much text. Keep a dark code on a light background, leave the quiet border around it, use at least 2 cm when printing, and test with a phone before printing many copies.
The code holds your text directly, so it never expires and needs no account. When you link to a URL, it works as long as that page does. You can choose 128 to 512 pixels and the file downloads as a PNG.

No, this tool is 100% free. There are no limits, sign-ups, subscriptions, or hidden charges required.
Export your image as WebP or PNG format. Standard JPEG format does not support transparent layers and will convert transparency to white.
